Mother of Flies plot
Young Mickey's life is turned upside down when she is diagnosed with cancer. Conventional medicine seems ineffective, prompting Mickey to turn to the dead. Her father, Jake, supports her in this new situation, and together they journey into the forest in search of the witch Solveig. Their stay becomes one of days, during which Mickey embarks on a journey of self-discovery through rituals. The dark magic unleashed upon her takes a heavy toll.

I didn't think it was that bad; it's a variation on folk and pagan horror with a modern twist. Clearly low-budget and not terribly scary or creepy, but it had something special.
