The Storm Team is ambushed by the Ghost Team during a mission. The captain, Gao Zhan, escapes death. Six months later, Gao Zhan and Pang Jian lead the Tiger Team to rescue scientists. While rescuing the hostages, they uncover a vast conspiracy, leading to a dangerous battle.

Mediocre action film. The story is a bit thin with several plot holes, but that's to be expected within this genre. The execution isn't surprising, but the viewer is sufficiently entertained by the numerous bullets and a decent pace. The action is a bit overkill, which saps the film of its suspense. The acting is somewhat subpar. Visually not very strong, and the film sometimes feels a bit cheap. 2.5
