Moss & Freud plot
The story takes place in 2002. Kate Moss is at the height of her modeling success and in transition, preparing for motherhood. She embarks on a journey of self-discovery when famed artist Lucian Freud offers to paint her portrait.

In 2002, supermodel Kate Moss [Ellie Bamber] has herself painted nude by prominent British figurative artist (and grandson of Sigmund) Lucien Freud [Derek Jacobi]. For Kate, it is a welcome distraction from her hectic existence; for Lucien, a confrontation with his past, as Kate reminds him of his late wife Caroline [Lauren O'Hara]. The static, dialogue-driven premise lends itself much better to a short format. It only comes somewhat to life during the flashbacks.
