Untitled Home Invasion Romance plot

Kevin, a struggling actor, devises a misguided plan to win back his wife Suzie after a two-month "break." He takes her to her family's Adirondack lake house for what he thinks will be a romantic second honeymoon, but secretly enlists his clumsy friend Ernie to stage a fake burglary so he can appear the hero. When the power goes out and Ernie, masked and menacing, arrives at the wrong time, the plan spirals into something far more dangerous than Kevin anticipated.

A decent film about a man who devises a plan to win his wife back when their marriage is in a slump. Quite an original plot, although the characters aren't really portrayed believably. A reasonable amount of violence for this otherwise entertaining black comedy. Fortunately, this directorial debut by Jason Biggs isn't too long, just barely earning it 3.0 stars.
