After her decision to turn down a potential record deal leads to a tragic act of revenge, Ruth feels called to join her deceased boyfriend's mother, Naomi. Together, they leave Atlanta for a small town in Tennessee to start over. The only job she can find is working at a local vineyard. She meets the owner, Bo "Boaz" Astra, who immediately falls for Ruth upon seeing her. Ruth clings to her faith and slowly begins to accept love, but her past will soon catch up with her.
