Blauwdruk plot

What does it do to your identity when you are the child of both the perpetrator and the victim? Maeve (59), Roser (47), and sisters Perla (33) and Aurora (35) each lost their mother, their father, and their safe home in one day. In the documentary, director Sara Kolster, together with expert Perla Joy, tells the story of four women who lost their mothers to femicide as children.

Four women (including two sisters) reflect on the deaths of their mothers. For some, it's been longer than for others. This demonstrates that femicide is certainly not a new phenomenon and that the problems related to aftercare remain unresolved. A courageous, compelling documentary that provides ample food for thought and discussion.
