Bad Slippers plot
When "Salesman of the Year" Urwin de Windt loses all his money to a crypto scam, he finds himself caught up in a bizarre art heist with hernia-ridden Harold and puzzle enthusiast Bennie. Their attempt to steal three Picassos from art dealer Björn Lerby escalates into a hilarious chain of events. They all turn out to be con artists, scamming and even blackmailing each other, but a misstep leads to an unexpectedly disastrous end.

A disappointing film about a couple of men planning a burglary at an art dealer's. It all lacks focus, and the beginning, in particular, is rather disjointed. Some scenes just flow along. The dry and bland characters and plot failed to captivate me at all, and I couldn't find any laughs.

Bruins, Komproe, Radstaat, and Van der Meer in this absurd comedy, which shares similarities with various comedies, including Maaskantje. A slip-up here and there shouldn't spoil the fun. The film is a succession of clumsiness, and you have to love that; otherwise, it is hardly worth watching. Simplicity reigns supreme in the desperate attempt to achieve something, with a plot where two fight over a bone and the third runs off with it. The whole thing could have been a bit sharper and more absurd. Nice cameo by Jenny Arean ..3.1*

The film delivers exactly what I expected, with some absurd humor and populated by strange yet quite convincing characters. The only point is: the joke density is far too low and the jokes aren't funny enough. As a result, the film runs for less than an hour and a half, but is still at least 20 minutes too long. 2.5*.
