Blue Heron plot
The late 1990s. A Hungarian-Canadian family of six settles into their new home on Vancouver Island. From the perspective of youngest daughter Sasha, the events range from comfortable everyday life—family beach days and park trips, summer afternoons filled with trampolines and garden hoses—to events that take on a darker hue as the scale of one member's problems becomes clear. The behavior of the family's eldest child, Jeremy, becomes increasingly dangerous.
