Griffin in Summer plot
Summer vacation is usually a time for kids to let loose, but for fourteen-year-old Griffin Nafly, it's time to focus on the serious business of staging his dramatic new play: an ambitious cross between "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and "American Beauty." However, when his young colleagues are distracted by trivial matters like boys and camp, Griffin's attention drifts to Brad, the handyman who works in his house. Griffin becomes increasingly smitten with Brad and seeks a kindred spirit in him, given his failed career as a performance artist in New York.
