In France in 1940, Jean Chevalin and his family were living in misery after he felt compelled to desert. The situation was no longer sustainable. Convinced that "others" were better off, Chevalin came up with a brilliant idea: posing as a Jew to benefit from the help of smugglers to gain access to the free zone. From misunderstandings to revelations, he takes his family on a journey that will deconstruct their prejudices one by one.
