Nice try, but unfortunately only partially successful. Maas has great ambitions, which is reflected in many facets of the film. One of the big positives is Felperlaan's strong camera work; for the most part you imagine yourself in a major Hollywood production. Unfortunately, the film disappoints in almost every other way. The predictable straightforward script, the mediocre dialogues and the flat game ensure that Do Not Disturb barely rises above the standard films within this genre.

2*

Today, after 2 years, it was reconsidered and it remains really good!

Exciting from start to finish, the end is also a spectacle, you will also see nice images of Amsterdam itself and many famous Dutch people, including: Cynthia abma (gtst), John jones, Victor low ea

The girl also plays very well, reminds me of the movie: Mercury rising with that autistic boy

I still don't understand why people thought this movie was so bad.

Just reviewed. In the cinema I found this very exciting at the time, with a good story, although I didn't think it was such a good film at the time.

But now half a star has to be removed. The start is so bad! Bad acting, very bad dialogues, bad scenes and stupid reactions from the various players. Only the acting of the girl is actually convincing.

Then the image of Amsterdam that is sketched here, can it be even more clichéd and negative? I will not appreciate that it is not an advertisement for Amsterdam, but that it is so unrealistic.

Furthermore, the idea is good and the film runs in an exciting way, although the quality of acting and dialogues remains very low, and there are still some wrong scenes in it.

A shame about the bad direction, especially the first fifteen minutes. I would have loved to see a remake of this movie.
