The Odyssey plot
"Defy the gods."
Odysseus, the king of the island of Ithaca, undertakes a dangerous and long journey home after the fall of Troy. During the difficult task, he and his crew come face to face with all kinds of creatures, including the sirens, the cyclops Polyphemus and Circe, the daughter of the sun god. Meanwhile, Odysseus' wife Penelope fends off suitors in Ithaca and his son Telemachus goes in search of his father.

Christopher Nolan proves yet again why he belongs among the greatest directors of all time.
The Odyssey is an impressive adaptation that managed to captivate me from beginning to end. The cinematography is phenomenal: every shot feels grand, each accompanied by a powerful soundtrack. It completely draws you into the story.
The cast also does an excellent job, sorry haters.
A lot of time has really been spent on everything, and you can see and feel that in this film.
Perhaps the greatest compliment for this film: it could easily have gone on longer; I would have loved to stay in this world for another hour.
Conclusion: Christopher Nolan simply never disappoints & proves once again that his name stands for quality. This film is highly recommended!!! A true IMAX film!! 
Rewatching on July 28 and this time in IMAX 70mm finally

What can you say about this? It is simply pure cinema.
Different genres alternate, which is also unique.
Not Nolan's best film, but definitely the most epic film!!!
