An excellent film about a priest who gets a second chance after committing violence. An Agatha Christie-esque whodunit with a new story and a new cast (apart from Daniel Craig). The classic structure makes the plot somewhat predictable, but it remains entertaining nonetheless, and the plot is simply well-crafted. The characters are also well-developed. A close 4.0 stars for this third installment.

No, way too long for what they want to tell. Those films don't always appeal to me anyway, because you know there's going to be another twist where the detective on duty will finally reveal the mystery, and often, as a viewer, you couldn't possibly have known that. There's no real chance of joining in the puzzle. Anyway, the first Knives Out was quite entertaining.

This film is much more serious in tone, and Craig, with his tone from the previous films, doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the film. But otherwise, there's little enjoyment in the film, no compelling characters (the number of suspects is quite limited anyway), and visually, it's simply very dull. The atmosphere is decent, but that's about it. 1.5 stars.

Daniel Craig is once again masterful in his role as Benoit Blanc, and Glenn Close also shows what acting is all about. A play wrapped in a film with the familiar whodunnit. O'Connor surprises with his performance. Sins like jealousy, vanity, greed, and vengeance are well-depicted and, in this case, linked to an object that once again demonstrates what people are capable of. The film has a good length, and there's never a dull moment. 3.8*
