Confidente plot
Ankara, 1999. Arzu is fielding a steady stream of paid phone calls to the erotic call center where she works. When a sudden earthquake hits Istanbul, a young man she spoke to on the phone is trapped under the rubble and begs her to save him. Arzu knows who to call, risking her own life.

Arzu [Saadet Aksfoy] is working a sex hotline when the 1999 Turkish earthquake leaves a trail of destruction. She receives a call from a teenager [Ilber Uygar Kaboglu] trapped under the rubble and accidentally discovers that, through regular customer Mr. Erden [Osman Alkas], she can contact the only person who can initiate the rescue effort. Filmed entirely from Arzu's perspective, Aksfoy relies entirely on her facial expressions to convey her emotions and the tension. Naturally, she can't sustain that for 80 minutes.
