Despite having initiated the separation, Anna and Magnus still spend a lot of time together. This is in the interest of their children, Ída and the twins Þorgils and Grímur. A year in the life of a recently divorced artist [Ída Mekkín Hlynsdóttir] who moves with her children to a remote apartment where she has all the time and space to create new artwork. No story, no plot, just a few amusing incidents. The dog is cute, there's an amusing running gag involving a scarecrow, and a surreal (but incomprehensible) scene with a giant chicken is amusing, but it's all about nothing.

Not my thing, this literal and figurative bobbing movie.
Things already go wrong with the 4:3 aspect ratio, and worse, simple craftsmanship like continuity or color grading is also too much to ask. Combined with a vague but also rather seriously meaningless story, I can't do much with it.
