Adult Best Friends plot

Katie and Delaney have been inseparable for decades. They were incredibly close in high school, but now that they’re adults, they don’t seem to share the same goals anymore. Katie lives with her boyfriend John, while Delaney parties, dates, and complains about the world with her roommate. When John asks Katie for her hand in marriage, she worries about how it will put a strain on her friendship with Delaney. To soften the blow, Katie plans a trip to the beach for Delaney, but things quickly spiral out of control.
