Popeye skates to Olive's house to give her a Christmas present: ice skating. While he's teaching her, Bluto comes skating and hits on her; Popeye naturally fights him. When she rejects Bluto again, he sends her on an ice floe towards a waterfall.

This animated film was released a week before Christmas 1933. It's a winter episode of Popey, though not as corny as you might expect from a Christmas episode. The animation is truly old-fashioned; it wasn't until the 40s and 50s that the animated shorts became true gems. You can also see the 2D animation here, with the characters constantly moving (which can be a bit unnerving).
