The eccentric Bernhard [Lenn Kudrjawizki] lives with his sheep, Fiete. When his father [Michael Hanemaan] asks for his help because he is seriously ill, Bernhard's quiet life comes to a temporary end. Moreover, his girlfriend Agata [Sophie Mousel] threatens to leave him. No wonder, because Kudrjawizki plays Bernhard with a coldness and aloofness that elicits no sympathy whatsoever. Imanov clearly took a cue from David Lynch's films, but forgot to incorporate his bizarre visual ideas into a compelling story with equally compelling characters.
