"70 years of love"
In 2024, a couple tries to plan special Christmas surprises for each other, but keeping them a secret may be harder than they thought. We go to 1951, where we meet a couple, Charlie and Joan, who have just come home from the hospital after Joan broke her arm. It’s a big Christmas for them, because Charlie is about to leave for Korea. In 2003, we see a couple, Sarah and Luke, they never fight. They never disagree. Until Luke’s family comes to stay for Christmas and brings a huge wreath. And to make matters even more awkward, her family comes too.
