Well-made thriller that is limited in several ways - there are actually only two actors (and a third via the phone), the setting is limited (>95% of the film takes place in the car while the parents are on the phone with daughter Alice) and the film is practically in real time and never explicit. And yet the tension is skillfully maintained, also by the convincing acting. Halfway through it seemed clear to me that this was mainly an intense family drama, but towards the end when there is a twist with clearly supernatural aspects on top that worked fine for me. I was impressed when I left the theater.

I saw this film after the film Eden which had a lot of great movies and a very big budget, but it was a really bad film.
This film was simple and cost very little to make, yet it was still exciting and captivating until the very end.
This is further proof that a good film doesn't have to cost a lot or be too difficult.
That's why I give so many stars....

A decent thriller drama. The story is limited but skillfully developed despite the limited setting. The opening is incredibly strong and immediately sets the tone for the film. A mystery slowly unfolds, with the film's pace enough to keep the viewer engaged. This slows down somewhat towards the end, but thankfully the running time is short. The resolution is decent but doesn't have a WTF effect. The acting is otherwise excellent. 3.5/4.0
