The cover says "all new Hallmark mystery original movie" at the top, which indicates a new film on the Hallmark channel and therefore not a rerun. Normally, "mystery" means what it says, a kind of whodunit or crime drama. Which doesn't seem to be true for this film...
Anyway, a fact that probably doesn't interest anyone... I looked it up myself, so...
What I mean is: this movie is pure Hallmark. But it's not too bad. I've seen worse. The actors look good and don't act badly. There's none of the typical, omnipresent overacting we often see in this genre. It's there, but not bothersome...
The story is a romantic Christmas trifle where two opposites find each other…
No romance here. But it has a Christmassy feel to it, and that's why I'm watching this one. It fits into my annual December tradition.
