Hidden Face plot

Su-yeon, a cellist in an orchestra led by her fiancé and conductor Sung-jin, disappears one day, leaving only a video recording behind. Sung-jin is devastated, but also feels strongly attracted to Mi-ju, a cellist who replaces his fiancée. One rainy night, Sung-jin and Mi-ju are carried away by their mutual desires for each other and commit an unforgivable act in Su-yeon's house. Meanwhile, Su-yeon, who is believed to be missing, is locked in a secret room in her house.

Very strong film although it is relatively simple as a mystery/thriller with a nice twist but not very special. However, the dramatic part, and the love triangle is very interestingly worked out. In which there are power games and you wonder who will eventually dominate. In that part of the film lies the strength.

And endings are always important and without giving anything away I can say that this film not only ends badly but also ends up being shockingly bad. Perhaps one of the most horrible endings. A life as a slave under the thumb of a shrew.

3.5 solid film but in terms of themes, direction, execution etc. not very special
