Sukkwan Island plot
Thirteen-year-old Roy stays with his father Tom on Sukkwan Island for a year. His stay is marked by adventure and spending time with his dad. Both still have to process an event that happened years ago. The rugged landscape itself tests the men and their survival instincts.

Roy [Ruaridh Mollica] returns with the help of pilot Anna [Alma Pöysti] to the island where his father [Swann Arlaud] lived in isolation until his death. In a flashback, we discover that as a teenager, Roy [Woody Norman] lived there with his father for some time after his parents' divorce, with his mother's [Tuppence Middleton] permission. The primitive conditions and isolation (the island is otherwise uninhabited) make it a challenge for father and son. An adaptation of the novel by David Vann with a twist ending that not everyone will appreciate. The biggest problem is that the motives and motivation for this experiment are never made clear.
