My father wanted to go so I went along. Typical documentary that would have fit better in 50 minutes Hour of the Wolf. Little music, many talking heads where for a long time one cannot say why Nicky Hopkins was so important and so brilliant (and why he did not become a permanent member of a supergroup), except that he is talented. At one point a few other pianists are given the floor who elaborate on this a bit more but it never really goes deep. Basically interesting and also educational on several levels but as a documentary and experience it is mediocre. 2.5*.
