San Shao Nü plot

In a world where all objects have a soul, an umbrella and a sword have been transformed into the fairies Qingdai and Wanggui. Qingdai, the umbrella fairy, has failed to protect the sword fairy Wanggui who has escaped from the royal pavilion. Together with the young craftsman Mo Yang, she sets out on a journey to prevent war.

Delicious.

China has quickly risen to become one of the leading countries in the animation world. They borrow from their Japanese and American friends, but often manage to go a step further, especially in the technical field. The Umbrella Fairy borrows liberally from anime, but you have to go to 4°C anthologies to see the same level of animation.

The setting, folklore and symbolism make it feel very Chinese. Anyone who likes to watch a Chinese fantasy epic will feel quite at home in the story, apparently it is a bit difficult for others to follow sometimes. The film is also quite short and has some lore. But just open your eyes and enjoy.
