Six Jours plot
Northern France, 2005. Malik, a police inspector, watches helplessly as a child is murdered after a kidnapping. He is charged with the investigation but fails to find the killer. Ten years later. With no new evidence and no trace of a dangerous criminal still at large, the case is on the verge of being closed for good. But when new facts about the case come to light, Malik begins a race against time in the hope of solving the investigation before the statute of limitations runs out. In six days. That's how long he has to find the perpetrator.

A solid police thriller about the search for a missing girl and, simultaneously, the search for a "cold case" running through it. Naturally, both cases are inextricably linked. Although the pacing is good and the plot somewhat surprising (though), there are also a few weak moments. In any case, the biggest mystery is actually that the policeman himself completely botches the first case by driving like an idiot at 250 km/h on that road, causing the child to fall. Searching for the kidnapper is therefore a bit pointless, or at least that is how it feels. Anyway, otherwise good entertainment.
