Wo Men Yi Qi Yao Tai Yang plot

A few months shy of her 25th birthday, Lin Min is faced with kidney disease that requires obsessive monitoring of her food and water intake and regular dialysis. As a result, she and her family must move to a Changsha neighborhood with easy access to three hospitals in case a transplant becomes available (the waiting list is typically eight or nine years) or if she needs emergency care because her precautions aren’t enough. One desperate night, she records a video to send to a cancer discussion group, saying she’s willing not only to marry a terminally ill patient but also to care for their family after they die, in exchange for a donated kidney.
