TWST: Things We Said Today plot
Andrei Ujică, director of The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu (2010), again shows his love for archive material, from newsreels to home movies, but now with a very different subject. New York City, August 13, 1965. The arrival of The Beatles – Ujică borrowed the title from one of their songs – who are performing that weekend at Shea Stadium. Fans are crowding the streets to catch a glimpse of their idols.
