"Enter if you dare."
In the run-up to Halloween, a young woman joins the cast of a haunted house at a carnival, but she gets more than she bargained for when her fellow actors begin to mysteriously disappear one by one. It’s soon revealed that a masked killer is responsible for the disappearances, murdering his victims in ways that mimic the gruesome deaths of their characters. And on Halloween night, the brutality is taken to a new level when the killer unleashes a whirlwind of violence on anyone who dares enter the house.

Amusing Halloween slasher with an unprecedentedly high tempo and an effectively short running time, in which a lot of bodies hit the ground in blood. Director Jake Jarvi always keeps his effects practical and realizes that the content of Haunt Season consists of hot air, which is why he fully commits to the horror effect. The background is also well chosen, the main characters are loud enough and the murders are especially nice and dirty. The rather hysterical design also demands your attention as a viewer and if you can enjoy the holiday in question, you are completely fine with this film. The acting leaves stitches here and there, but the energetic camera work fortunately captures the killing of these figures well. Little to complain about this form of entertainment.

Mediocre slasher where the emphasis is more on the drama part in my eyes. Many meaningless dialogues, which also last too long.
Visually it looks fine and the practical effects are good. Even though there are few sensational kills to be seen. It is nice that they do not opt for CGI. But that is all that can be said.
