Living in Two Worlds plot

Dai Igarashi grew up in a small port town with deaf parents who love him very much. As a child, it was normal for him to act as his mother's interpreter. As Dai grows older, however, he becomes frustrated and confused because he is excluded from his environment. He therefore decides to escape to Tokyo at the age of twenty and starts a part-time job in a big city where no one knows about his background.
