This is the umpteenth documentary by Oeke Hoogendijk about the art trade. I don't know what fascinates her so much about this perverse world of people with too much money, but this one was more enjoyable than her previous films because the collectors are intriguing figures: ordinary, neat, good-natured and even sympathetic people who are at the same time filthy rich and therefore lead anything but ordinary lives. The message seems to be: money does make you happy.

Eijk and Rose-Marie De Mol van Otterloo have lived in Marblehead, a suburb of Boston, for 50 years and have become rich overnight through smart investments. They now have the largest collection of paintings by Dutch and Flemish masters in the world hanging in their home. Oeke Hoogendijk visits them at home and follows them on a “trading mission” to London. She also speaks with Matt and Susie Sothebie, good friends of Eijk and Rose-Marie who also have an impressive collection of paintings in their home. The big question is what should happen to the collection after their death. Art lovers will enjoy this more, less informed people will probably wonder why these multimillionaires should be glorified so much.
