The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat plot

As teenagers in 1968, Odette and Clarice bond and work on their personalities as they develop into young women. One day, they are assigned to reach out to classmate Barbara Jean, who recently lost her mother. After witnessing the abusive situation she finds herself in with her stepfather, Odette and Clarice become a trio of friends with the timid teenager. They spend happy times at a local restaurant, where owner Big Earl nicknames them “The Supremes,” and watches as they navigate the trials of love and life.
