Le Fil plot

Jean Monier has stopped taking on criminal cases since acquitting a repeat offender. When he meets Nicolas Milik, a father accused of murdering his wife, he is moved and his certainties are shaken. Convinced of his client's innocence, he is prepared to do anything to help him win his trial and thus rediscover the meaning of his calling.

I found this really fascinating to watch, not least because of Auteuil, who is a great actor. I usually love French cinema. There was also a small role for top Danish actress Sidse Babett Knudsen, known for her wonderful series "Borgen." It was based on a true story, and the ending was quite surprising...
