The Assessment plot
In the future, the world will be devastated by climate change. The government maintains strict control over life and its citizens, even down to the choice of having children. A successful young couple wants to have children and is therefore questioned by a woman for seven days and their lives are scrutinized. She must determine whether the couple is entitled to this.

Great film with an original and intriguing story and a great cast. There are some very strong scenes, Vikander and Olsen do an excellent job. Watched captivated from start to finish.

Reasonable sci-fi drama. The story is nicely conceived and has a socially critical view of the future earth. The execution is somewhat variable, but the film remains captivating until the end. As a viewer, you don't really have an idea during the film which way it is going, not even in terms of genre. If it becomes a thriller, it remains a drama. The film is kept afloat by the actors. Vikander in particular, despite her complex role, still puts down a strong example of credible acting. Visually also very strong. A bit strange, but still a nice film. 3.5
