After years of hard work, Qiao Yan has made it as an actress. On several occasions she is under enormous pressure and experiences humiliating moments. After Nina Wu I became very curious, but his films are not very easy to find. This one is again somewhat in the same vein, a mystery with dark and dramatic edges, but is in most areas just a little less. Take away the comparison and what remains is still a very strong film.
Visually neat, the soundtrack also does its job well and the acting is on par. There are also a number of nice twists that take the film on a slightly different path, without it going too far in all directions. Just quality across the board. Actually nothing to complain about, except that his previous one was better.
