In August 1992 in eastern France, fourteen-year-old Anthony is bored to death. At the lake he meets Stéphanie with whom it is love at first sight. To see her again, he secretly borrows his father's motorcycle. After a night of partying, it appears to have disappeared, after which Anthony's life is turned upside down.
