2012: Kurse a di Xtabai plot
A sealed ancient Mayan cave is blown up, unleashing a curse to destroy the world and destroy civilization. She begins by infecting the inhabitants of a nearby village with a terrible and fatal fever. Admittedly, without production country 'Belize' this film would never have come onto my radar. And rightly so, it turns out, because it's not much of a surprise. Lousy acting combined with a low budget. You can't expect miracles.
A bit of a strange setup where a community has to deal with a pandemic. Suddenly dream sequences are added and there is a witch walking around in the forest somewhere. A bit too much of a good thing. It's one potpourri.
Ah yes, take your mind off things and let's have a look. You'll survive those 80 minutes. Is somewhat in the genre of other cult B or C films. Bad so that it becomes good (fun).
