Dorp zonder School plot

Griendtsveen is a picturesque village in Peel. It is located exactly on the border between Brabant and Limburg, although the inhabitants feel like real Brabantians. The village has 535 inhabitants and after club life has already left the village, the primary school is now also in danger of having to close its doors for good. The village is in shock and parents are doing everything they can to save their school. Will they succeed in preserving the core of the close-knit village community - and thus the soul of the village?

Griendtsveen is a village in the Limburg Peel with approximately 500 inhabitants. Primary school De Driehoek is part of Scholengroep Dynamiek, but due to the low number of pupils, director Dorien Sommers is considering closing the location. This means that the children will have to travel to another village via narrow, bumpy roads. Renée Savelkoul has just bought a house in Griendtsveen and the presence of that school was a decisive factor. She immediately contacts other school parents to take action. Unfortunately, Smulders is more interested in beautiful pictures of picturesque Griendtsveen and a vague impression of the lessons than in the efforts that the parents are making to save the school.
