Good Guy with a Gun plot

Will Greenwood's father is shot dead on the streets of Chicago. The high school student then moves to a small town with his mother Tessa. Angry and insecure, Will meets new friends and the local gun culture. This causes the relationship with his mother to crumble and Will's grief becomes more complicated.
