A cheaply made slasher film with a fun concept, but also, of course, predictably half-heartedly executed. The acting is severely lacking, the murders feel rushed, and the clowns don't get enough breathing room to make an impression. The theme house setting is particularly enjoyable, and it's used quite effectively, but those moments of vibrancy are few and far between, and the forced plot twists feel mostly half-baked.
