My expectations were not high beforehand. That's a good thing, because it's a fairly boring, dime-a-dozen film.

Evelyne Brochu, the super nice lady from Cafe de Flore. Ten or fifteen years older now, but that doesn't suit her - at least when she has her hair down, because otherwise she looks uncomfortably like Celine Dion, and she also has it in her head that she should do something with singing. I listened to it for a while, I don't need it if I'm completely honest.

Oh yeah, about the movie then. If you don't expect a high-flown and inspiring arthouse movie, then it's actually quite okay. A somewhat standard romcom, but certainly not a bad one in that genre. Zach Braf has clearly aged a day, but that doesn't suit him either, and the jokes, although rather easy and cliché, are delivered well. Fine movie for a dull evening.
