I Do Not Come to You by Chance plot

The erudite but impressionable Kingsley struggles to make a living. He has just left university and has little to no job prospects. In addition to increasing financial problems, his father's health deteriorates, leaving him the family's sole breadwinner. He seizes an opportunity with his uncle Boniface, a well-known, astute businessman and the mastermind behind a successful empire of email scams. As time passes, Kingsley becomes increasingly conflicted by the illegal nature of his new job, even as it offers his family relative status and respite.

Recently saw this film at the film festival in Rotterdam... Beautiful film, professional, with the necessary humor, but enough drama, realistic... It shows you a lot of life in Nigeria, in the countryside and in the city, morality, poverty, wealth, family life, nature, etc... Actually made for the Nigerian audience and not global. Globally, the films are somewhat different in design, tailored to Western tastes, culture... This one takes you into Africa... unfortunately almost only seen at film festivals around the world... And in Nigerian cinemas ... Recommended
