The Cursed Land plot
"Home is somewhere else..."
After the death of his wife, Mit moves with his teenage daughter May to a dilapidated apartment building in a predominantly Muslim suburb of Bangkok. Despite warnings from local residents, the skeptical Mit removes all the talismans from the house, summoning a furious djinn and his 200-year-old curse. Mit descends into madness and self-harm and May must travel south to seek help.
