Ontmaskerd plot

In 'Unmasked' one gets into the head of James Ensor, the artist who renewed painting based on his typical masks. What influenced the man behind the mask, and why was his art so different from his fellow contemporary artists? Filmmaker Henry Nery searches for the answers in the house where Ensor grew up.

Wow, I have no idea what the point of this was. In terms of genre, a short documentary, a kind of advertising message about painter James Ensor and the Queen of the Seaside Cities, Ostend. With the energetic, powerful voice of Wim Opbrouck. I have already been to the Ensor House twice, a more than interesting museum, definitely worth it. But there was very little I could do with this production, certainly not on a cinematic level.
