B-director Craig Moss will again come up with a mediocre film in 2023, this time a satirically oriented comedy about reality television. However, the introduction of Carl Anthony Payne II and Lori Love does start off hopefully, with two obviously crazy people being appointed as the main characters. Unfortunately, the power starts to diminish quickly when it turns out that Love becomes irritating and Payne II is pushed more into the clichéd background. We are also introduced to three couples, all of whom are provided with pure caricature by Moss and co-screenwriter Ryan Elkins. The mediocre acting ensures that no couple excels and, moreover, the accompanying humor does not work at all. The terror that the victims have to endure never comes across to the viewer, in the end it is mainly that the second half is provided with more gore. Nothing groundbreaking, but just a bit smoother than the wooden first half. Binged to Death has all the appearance of a quickly put together B-production whose humor proves to be ineffective to the point of disturbing.
