Mediocre documentary, purely because it has a nomination for the Oscars. Batiste as a whole doesn't interest me very much and at least half of the documentary is about his personal problems (at least, his wife's illness). That doesn't really fit in very well with the rest of the symphony, which does show interesting pieces every now and then, but far too few. 1.5*.
