To be closer to his school, Naotatsu goes to live with his uncle. He is met at the station by Sakaki, a testy young woman who lives with his uncle (a manga author) together with a transvestite fortune teller and a professor who travels around the world. Sakaki finds out that Naotatsu's father is the man her mother had an extramarital affair with, causing her to be estranged from her mother for ten years...
