Phantom Fun-World plot

For years, the history of the Phantom Fun-World amusement park was a tainted and tragic story for the city of Edgewood. Once on track to become one of the country's most popular attraction chains, the original park was closed in the 1990s due to a series of horrific events. Now that a new and versatile theme park has opened with the same name, a group of employees are targeted by a mysterious figure who will do everything he can to keep the park closed for good.

A cheap slasher film, but delivered with great passion by director Tory Jones. Phantom Fun-World relies heavily on its surroundings, as well as the eccentric characters who are slashed in turn. It all looks detailed and entertaining enough, even if the actors (especially during the more dramatic moments) are somewhat lacking. The film doesn't aim for particularly exciting or atmospheric, but the kills look hilarious and the pace is good. Sometimes, you might conclude, the funding is simply lacking, but the filmmakers at least demonstrate their passion for the genre, and that will always create something unique.
