Shibpur plot

In 1980s Shibpur, Mandira's husband Aniruddha, an honest government official, is murdered before her eyes. This is because he refused to give in to the pressure of a local gangster, Nepal Bhattacharya. His widow Mandira fights to get justice for her husband's death, but in vain. After being abandoned by the police and the judiciary, she contacts local gangster Tapan Barik. With his help, she manages to track down her husband's killers.
