Entertaining Halloween slasher with a rather easy content, but good acting by the main characters and a nice concept. Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder are of course always nice additions, although the former does not seem to embrace his initially good-natured character very comfortably. The content that director Dan Lantz links to his film is also quite nonsensical and barely thought through, but ultimately only forms a peg for a creative and entertaining idea. The haunted hayride is namely nicely decorated, with a lot of love for decoration and a healthy pace. The murders could have been a bit more brutal, but ultimately meet the standard and the characters are all caricatural enough for the necessary humor. Hayride to Hell is without a doubt a suitable, nicely simple film for the Halloween holidays despite the very simplistic content.
